Mount Fairweather operates on the honor system: green fees go in a box at the clubhouse. Club rentals, caddies, and pull carts are available. Wildlife sightings — moose, black bears, foxes, coyotes, seals, eagles, and geese — are routine. The course can be played late into the evening during Alaska's long summer days. Budget cabin rentals are available on the grounds.
