Alaska Folds of Honor Championship raises record amount

The Pacific Northwest Section PGA held its 2026 Alaska Folds of Honor Championship at the Creek Course at Moose Run GC in Anchorage on July 11. The field was expanded to 100 players this year with the local community coming out to support the event and help raise funds for Folds of Honor.

The event raised $28,205 this year, a new record. The Section sent out a special thanks to the event’s amazing sponsors Budweiser/RDNC, Olgoonik Corporation and TaylorMade Golf for their partnerships, as well as to Moose Run’s PGA Director of Golf Josh Cantrell and his team for hosting the event. And of course all the support from the local players, who competed in four-person teams in a scramble format, for making such a difference to Alaska’s veterans and their families. The foursome of Joseph Orley, Duane Risse, Tay Epperson and Carter Epperson won the gross competition, coming in at 15-under par.

Folds of Honor is a 501c(3 charitable foundation supporting scholarships and assistance to the spouses and children of those killed or disabled in military service to America. We can honor those who fought for our freedom by serving the families they leave behind.
