Peak Season Is Here
There’s no better time to be an Alaskan golfer than right now. With daylight stretching past 11:00pm, tee sheets have been packed from sunrise to “sunset” (whenever that actually happens this time of year). July is shaping up to be the busiest month of our season, with events packed back-to-back.

Course Conditions & Notes
July has been a wet one so far — courses are dealing with a fair amount of standing water. The good news: the sun is starting to come back out, so conditions should be firming up as the month goes on.
Quick Tips for July Golf
- Play the light, not the clock. With sunset near midnight, evening tee times mean cooler air and calmer wind.
- Layer up anyway. Mornings can start in the 50s even on a sunny day.
- Watch the wind on open holes. Afternoon breezes tend to pick up.
